| The cutlery company founded in 1884 by Karl Elsener in Schwyz, Switzerland is now the largest cutlery manufacturer in Europe.
In 1891 they obtained the first contract to supply the Swiss Army with a sturdy 'Officers Knife'. So successful was the knife that other versions soon followed and now this revolutionary knife is available in over 100 different models with 40 different kinds of blades and tools.
Over 10% of Victorinox's 950 employees are in the final inspection department ensuring that every product leaving the factory matches the standards of quality and precision for which they are famous.
