These spars can be ordered in 3 different configurations.

The well known school spars, the upgraded school spars and the mastsleeve school spars.

All are made of 6082 tempered aluminium tube, masts have a diameter of Ø 45 x 2 mm, booms a diameter of 32 x 1.6 mm and sprits a diameter of 25.4 x 1.6 mm

The SCHOOL mast is fitted with a stainless steel halyard block, a stainless steel halyard and downhaul cleat, a nylon pin stop and two stainless steel eyes for fixing the head of the sail.

The SCHOOL boom has blue nylon in- and outboard end fittings, a stainless steel outhaul cleat and nylon fittings for mainsheet and downhaul attachment.

The SCHOOL sprit has blue nylon sprit ends.

The Gold 45x2.2mm mast and 27x1.5mm sprit are made of 7075 T6 alloy, the highest grade aluminium available.

The Gold boom is made of 40x1.2mm seamless extruded (not welded) high grade, tempered tube and comes ready to fit, with black nylon in- and outboard end fittings, black outhaul cleat, 4mm spectra outhaul, 6mm spectra, 2mm wire, v ang and 3mm Spectra bridle with stainless steel ring for mainsheet.

The Gold sprit has 15cm protective tubing for avoiding damage between the mast and the sprit.

The mast, boom and sprit are heavily gold anodised.

The Optiparts Gold has the following features:

The mast, boom and sprit of the Silver are not as stiff as the Gold set but this is ideal for the light weight sailor who has just started racing.

The Silver 45x2mm mast, 32x1.6mm boom and 25.4x16mm sprit are made of tempered 6082 aluminium tube

The Silver boom comes complete with blue nylon in- and outboard end fittings, blue outhaul cleat, 4mm pre-stretched outhaul, 6mm pre-stretched / 2mmwire, downhaul and 3mm Spectra astrop with stainless steel ring for mainsheet.  The Silver boom bends more than the Gold boom.  The bending boom will flatten and depower the sail which enables the lightweight sailor to go faster in more wind.

The Silver sprit has blue sprit ends and 15cm blue tubing for protecting damage between the mast and the sprit.

Moistureguard 2000 is made from heavy duty 900D polyester with a polyurethane membrane.&n bsp; This material has excellent breathablity and is water resistant.  The polyurethane membrane of this material has microscopic pores, which enable vapour to pass to the outside and stops water from getting in.

The Optiparts topcover is tented so that spars can be stored inside the boat.  Wide skirts around the edge of the hull offer good protection.  Fast and easy to install with two straps with two adjustable quick clip buckles.  Colour - light grey.

Still popular with racing sailors who travel a lot is our fully padded and quilted undercover.  This cover has a foam padding material between two layers of nylon cloth which provides a good protection of the hull during transport.  The cover is breathable but not water resistant.

Constructed of 600D Nylon, this blade bag is made to last.  With three compartments for rudder, dagger and accessories.

The rudder and daggerboard compartments are padded inside and out, protecting your blades from the outside world, and each other.  These compartments can be closed with a heavy duty zip.  Its unique shaoe also provides protection for the tiller and extension, unlike most other blade bags.
