A strong lightweight range of blocks suitable for use on dinghies and dayboats or wherever a powerful compact multi purchase tackle is required. A comprehensive range of multiple sheave options together with fiddle and camcleat blocks allow for powerful lightweight tackles to be achieved.
BALL BEARING BLOCKS:
Our unique super low friction ball race system featuring acetal sheaves with delrin ball bearings running on a large diameter centre boss. This allows us to fit more load bearing balls which ensures extremely low friction performance even under high loads.
PLAIN BEARING BLOCKS:
Have precision moulded acetal sheave running on a large diameter brass centre bearing ensuring free running under the highest of loads.
FIXED EYE CLEVIS PIN
A simple low priced fixed eye block with removable clevis pin for fixing. Pin dia: 5mm, Width between straps:13mm.
FIXED EYE:
Has a plain attachment eye.
REVERSE SHACKLE:
Removable shackle can be set at 90° to sheave.
SWIVEL:
Fully swivelling head with removable shackle.
SNAP SHACKLE:
Has a cast stainless steel swivelling snap action. Ideal for use as quick release downhauls or vang tackles.
UPRIGHT:
Allows lines to pass under sheave. Fastening Dia: 5mm.
UPRIGHT WITH FAIRLEADS
Allows lines to pass over sheave, fairlead prevents line falling off when not under load. Fastening: 5 mm.
STANDUP:
Features a flexible plastic spring for anti tumble action. Base Dia: 58mm. Fastening Dia: 5mm.
CHEEK:
Feature a plastic backing plate to eliminate damage to spars or decks. A curved backing plate is also available to allow snug attachment to spars. Base size: 79 X 43mm. Fastening Dia: 5mm.
STANCHION LEAD:
Are designed for use on 25mm tubes. These blocks have a swivelling action with up/down movement allowing fair leads on control lines. A double version is also available.
Note: A larger size 3 or 4 block should be used for final take off.
SPINNAKER LEAD:
A useful block on a s/s tang. Fastening Dia: 5mm.
BACK TO BACK:
Useful double swivelling block with a variety of applications, especially dinghy mainsheet/horse blocks.
CAMCLEAT BLOCKS:
Fitted with our all new Kevlar 'K'Cam as standard (unless otherwise stated). Cam arms are all fully adjustable by moving the locking clevis pin to achieve the correct sheeting angle. This range of blocks used in conjunction with relevant fiddle blocks are particularly useful for use as mainsheet vang tackles or powerful downhauls on dinghies, dayboats or light cruising boats.

Important Notice: Break Loads
Where break and safe working loads are stated, it assumes that all sheaves are evenly loaded as in a purchase tackle. Uneven loading or loading of one sheave in a double or triple block will severely affect strengh quoted.

Maximum rolling load on ball bearing blocks is the maximum free running load before ball bearings will distort. |
