| 'K' Cam cleats
'K' Cams are a completely new range of Kevlar / Zytal composite cam cleats made in three sizes for lines up to 14mm diameter. 'K' cams are very strong and light, they have excellent wear resistance and a cam profile which makes them perhaps the most efficient cam cleats available.
The use of this exotic Kevlar / Zytal composite offers performance advantages over carbon fibre and conventional glass reinforced resins. After studying many existing cam cleat designs, our designers have created a cam profile which ensures high grip and load capacity with extreme ease of rope entry and release. A progressive tooth design ensures maximum holding power on all types of line whilst creating minimum wear on either cam or line.
CAM BASES:
Cam bases and top fairleads feature a stainless steel wear bar for prolonged life.
CAMS:
Utilise stainless steel leaf springs which give a soft smooth action.
TOP FAIRLEADS:
Incorporate stainless steel reinforcing for added strength and to prevent wear.
PILLAR FAIRLEADS:
Enable the cleats to be engaged from a variety of angles. Can be fitted either in front or behind the cam. Moulded from glass reinforced resin with stainless steel pillars to prevent wear.
COLOURS:
Pillar fairleads and top fairleads are supplied in either grey, green ,red or yellow.
WIRE FAIRLEADS:
From stainless steel, lock securely into the base moulding.
WEDGE MOUNTS:
A range of angled wedge mounts are available for all three sizes. |
